"I think it's neat how you can't see but yet you can," Teo said with a smile. "The first thing I noticed about you was your eyes."

Toph Bei Fong smirked, swinging her feet over the edge of the Northern Air Temple's platform. "Oh yeah? And your first thought was......?"

Teo leaned his arm against the arm of his wheelchair and rested his cheek against his fist. He looked at her nonchalantly and said, "I thought 'wow, she has some pretty eyes'."

Toph deepened her grip on the stone platform, her heart beating faster and her cheeks heating up slightly. She played it off with another smirk. "Oh really?"

"Yeah," Teo replied seriously." Just like you your eyes are unique." He shifted his weight with his arms and relaxed against his seat. "I've always wanted to know how you were aware of your environment without having sight. Now I know."

Toph, while enjoying his praise, shrugged. She moved her feet and legs from over the edge and stood up. She walked over to Teo and began to examine his glider attached to his wheelchair with her hands. "I'll admit I admire your attitude, Goggles."

Teo grinned. "What? Because of my disability?"

Toph nodded. "Just like me you don't let it affect what you love to do."

Teo nodded in agreement. "That does make the two of us."

"Yeah.....I think I'll head on over to where Twinkle Toes and the others are. I'm a bit hungry."

"Okay," Teo said. "I'm going to fly for a little bit."

Toph drew her hands from tracing his glider and folded her arms with an amused smile. "You're forever flying, Goggles."

Teo laughed. "That's just me......say; you want to fly with me?"

Toph raised an eyebrow. "Why do you want me to fly with you?"

The handicapped teenager smiled. "Remember when you reshaped the fields for us to roll around in?"

Toph scratched her head. "Of course. I did that this morning."

"Well this morning meant a lot to me," Teo continued. "It was like you were sharing something with me and....well, I want to share something with you."

Toph bit her lower lip and pondered. She had always been afraid of heights let alone flying. She couldn't see in the sky for obvious reasons and for that she hated it. However this guy wanted her to be with him with in his realm because he was with her in her realm. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to fly with him just for a little bit. Like with Aang, she doubted Teo would let her fall so she would mostly likely be in good hands.

She walked over behind him and placed her hands on the back of his wheelchair. Teo smiled.

"I want to ask you something first before we lift off," he told her.

"Okay."

"Do you trust me? And if so, how much?"

Toph sighed. The answer was so obvious. She supposed he needed to hear it. She lifted one hand and punched him in the shoulder, causing him to wince. "I trust you enough to be agreeing to flying with you."

Rubbing his sore arm, Teo faced her with another smile. "That's all I wanted to know and hear....hold on tight."

The blind Earthbender clung to his shoulders and hopped onto the mini platform sticking out from his wheelchair. Teo wheeled back steadily and with all forces possible in his arms, he pushed the wheels forward. Toph felt as if her heart jumped into her mouth the second his glider and wheelchair left the Northern Air Temple platform and descended slightly towards the ground. The wind, however, picked up the glider and made them go higher.

Despite the wind's rustling past her ears, she could still hear Teo's cheerful laughter. She didn't want to admit it but his laughter made her smile. That smile didn't last long when Teo made some loop de loop turns, prompting Toph to scream at the top of her lungs. She tightened her grip on his shoulders. When he resumed to flying normally, her face was buried into his shoulder. He laughed apologetically. "Sorry."

"Yeah, you should be!" she scowled, looking up briefly. "Give a blind girl a warning next time!"

Teo grinned. "Like now?"

Catching on quickly, Toph wrapped her arms around his neck right before he started another loop de loop turn. Toph's screaming turned into laughter. Right after he flew straight again, Toph yelled into his ear, "Yeah, like that!"

Teo briefly let go of his handle with one hand and gave her arm, still wrapped around his neck, a squeeze. "Okay!" He placed his hand back on the handle. Toph refused to loosen her grip around his neck. In fact her arms stayed that way for the rest of their flight. Teo didn't mind. As a matter of fact, he relished it. Unbeknownst to him, so did Toph.
